That all said, I changed HOW I was studying recently and it's made all the difference. I'd read all over that "it takes time, just keep going." and I'm sure that that is surely a LARGE part of what I've recently found (take this to heart, time is still the most important factor). I've tried all the apps out there, I've tried using my guitar while singing, I've put lots of time into this skill - daily for nearly 2 years now (albeit, with large amounts of timespans with 0 deliberate interval training whatsoever) - but I've seen slow return on my investment. A large part of my musicianship training has been ear training - but it's been a long hard road. ![]() ![]() This time around, I actually take lessons and work on being a better musician. I played guitar for a few years in high school but then took a 15 year hiatus and only started playing again ~2 years ago. ![]()
